The Obama for America Campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are planning its volunteering efforts for the 2012 election. And, so are we! Young & Powerful for Obama (separate entity of the Young and Powerful Group) is forming a team of organizations and individuals for the fundraising events in Chicago, NYC, L.A and D.C.

For the 2008 election, Young and Powerful for Obama raised over $150,000 in seven cities through over 2,500 donors nationwide for the Obama for America campaign mostly through low-dollar donations. The organization also coordinated phone banks and door-to-door volunteer bus trips to battleground states such as Indiana and Virginia. Our grassroots efforts helped achieve a monumental victory in November 2008. We plan to do the same thing for 2012.
